Not only that, they do provide some courses that you might want to take up. For examples, they have tea ceremony, chinese chess, jap language, cooking class and much more for those who wants gain extra knowledge and have their time spent wisely.
Last few days i had a great opportunity to know more about this place. Reached here around in the afternoon with my fren with the main aim to know more about this society so that we can join in as volunteer. Good for your resume too.. So the first place we vist is the cafe to pay a visit to my relative who is also one of the veteran volunteer there. From there she roughly explained to us who to look for in different department for us to enroll as volunteers. Then we proceed to the recycling center. We met another volunteer named Catherine, a 50+ auntie who saved us time by showing us around the place.
Next she brought us to the kindergarten. Then she explained briefly to us how the kindergarten run. After listening, i really feel like sending my children here in the future. At there, they really teach the children to be independent since young. They really follow the old bm saying, "melentur buluh biarlah dari rebungnya". Instead from using normal teaching method, they choose a rather soft yet effective approach in teaching the children. They using love in nurturing the children instead punishment. Then they teach the children how to differentiate which is wrong and right. Seeing all the children there really makes us laugh. They are just so cute. XD Seeing us entering to their class, all of them stand and greet us ^^ Those who actually want to put in their children can really do it. Is Rm450 per month, from 8.30am to 5.30pm, monday to sunday, makan all included where got not cheap?
They were havin their lunch and we interrupt them XP
Getting ready to greet ^^
After makan have to queue up then wash their own plates. I bet most of us during that age still sucking our thumbs asking mummy to wash for us.

By late afternoon, we left the place with a satisfaction that we ad learnt something from there. We wished that we can actually bring in more people to know more about this place then join in as volunteer. First you can learn some stuff, do charity, put into your resume (that you're attached to an international NGO body) is like killing three birds with a stone rite. If you're really worry about this is an Buddhist body, do not do so coz they really focus more in community service. They are not somebody that will preach to you. If interested to know more you can actually log in to their website at www.tzuchi.org/ or you can ask me or seo more about it. We will more than willing to explain to you ^^ collecting merits :D
